Fonix supports the ‘Being Human’ exhibition at Liverpool Cathedral via mobile donations

A striking sculpture, depicting two huge hands, has been unveiled at Liverpool Cathedral as part of a new exhibition, which opened on 27 July and will run until 30 September. The free exhibition, titled ‘Being Human’, is a result of a collaboration with acclaimed sculptor and artist, Peter Walker.

Covid-19 caused them to lose over 20% of expected donations and earned income this year. We’re happy that Fonix is providing support to increase mobile donations and enable Liverpool Cathedral to build back stronger. This is essential to protect their heritage for the future.

Fonix supports this exhibition through mobile interactivity where supporters can text ‘CATHEDRAL’ followed by a colour to 70152 to donate £2 via mobile donation. This action not only raises donations but also changes the colour of the lighting that spotlights the giant hands (pictured below).

The exhibition is just one example to show the range of opportunities and creativity that can be done through text donations, enabling an interactive and exciting experience for supporters.
