We’re excited to announce that we’ve claimed a trophy at the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards 2017, in the ‘Most Effective Charity Campaign or Solution’ category.
Our entry was based upon our work with Red Nose Day 2017, with whom Fonix has partnered since 2015; Fonix provides the charity with a text-to-donate platform which allows donors to give to the charity by sending an SMS.
We entered the awards this year as for the first time, our text-to-donate platform allowed donors to give £20 (as well as the conventional £10 and £5 price points).
On live night, Red Nose Day raised £9.5 million via text-to-donate, making it the most successful night of TV for SMS donations to date.
We’re over the moon that our work with the charity has been named the most effective charity campaign or solution. Our CEO, Rob Weisz, who was responsible for judging several of the categories (of course, not our category!), commented upon how high the standard was this year.
