On Thursday 18th July, Team Fonix made their way down to the seaside for the annual Fonix Away Day – this year’s location was sunny Brighton!
The day was a chance to take stock of what we have achieved so far and align our goals for the next half year – all with a glorious, picturesque seaside setting!
Sat in the gorgeous sunshine, we tucked into a tasty picnic at Brighton Palace, followed by a trip up the scenic i360 tower, offering a great place for reflection amongst its panoramic views. This was a golden moment for us to come together as a team and think big for the future of Fonix.
We continued the day with a team-building activity of axe throwing, with the competitive bunch at Fonix coming together to showcase their talent, attempting to hit the bullseye as near as possible. We all love a good adrenaline rush!
The day culminated with a team meal, quiz and drinks, featuring the Fonix Oscars (or Foscars) handed out by CEO Rob Weisz to recognise outstanding work. The ‘Fonix Superstar’ was awarded to one of our Software Developers for their amazing contribution to Fonix over the last year.
Overall, it was a chance to relax and celebrate what we have achieved. A huge thank you to everyone who came and made it such a fun day!
