ITV extends interactive services partnership with Fonix into its 10th year

10/03/2026

We’re proud to continue our long-standing partnership with ITV, as the broadcaster extends its agreement with Fonix to power mobile interactive services across its portfolio of programmes.

Fonix has been supporting ITV since 2017, providing the technology behind mobile engagement for some of the UK’s most popular shows. With this latest extension, Fonix will continue powering mobile carrier billing, SMS payments, and interactive services for ITV’s flagship programmes and competitions.

These include I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Love Island, Britain’s Got Talent, Good Morning Britain, This Morning, and ITV Sport.

Peter Mossman, Director of Production and Strategic Delivery at ITV, said:
“Our partnership with Fonix has played an important role in shaping our interactive services. As audience behaviours continue to shift, it’s vital that we work with partners who can combine reliability with innovation. Fonix brings both, and we’re excited to continue building on what we’ve achieved together.”

At the heart of this work is Fonix’s Campaign Manager platform, delivering secure, scalable SMS engagement and real-time data insights. This infrastructure allows ITV to manage large-scale audience participation and create more dynamic viewer experiences.

Rob Weisz, CEO of Fonix, added:
“Extending our work with ITV reflects the strength of the relationship we’ve built together, as well as a shared ambition to keep improving the viewer experience. Interactivity continues to play a key role in broadcast, and we’re proud to provide the technology and insight that helps ITV engage audiences at scale.”

Interactive television continues to play a key role in connecting broadcasters with audiences, and Fonix is proud to provide the technology that powers viewer participation at scale. We look forward to continuing our work with ITV and exploring new ways for audiences to engage with the shows they love.
